Regular brushing/combing removes dirt and debris and helps distribute the natural oils throughout your dogs' coat. This helps prevent tangles and keeps the coat/skin in healthy condition. Basic brushing/combing at home should be a part of their regular routine. Be sure to get those often missed areas under the tail,armpits and behind the ears that tangle easily from everyday activity.

You may want the "breed standard" style.....

 or you may want something completely original to fit you and your dogs' personality!

In whichever haircut/style you decide there a few factors to consider first! 

If you have a busy lifestyle and/or your dog loves to roll around in the dirt and play with other dogs' in may be in the best interest for you and your best friend to have a short and sweet style that does not require everyday upkeep.                  

If you love the look of your dog with a longer, fluffy coat and you have the time for everyday brushing/combing you may choose this option.
